Bus Bars are typically made of Copper and Aluminium. Mostly, they are a strip, a bar or sometimes a tube made of copper, brass or aluminum for the application’s electrical current requirements and performance specifications. Copper bus bar is most demanding as it’s resilience to higher temperatures, providing extra security during short circuit situations. But Busbars are made up of aluminium mostly because of its low cost and competitive durability with copper.
